Art Deco 1943 Steinway Baby Grand Piano, Model S, Ebony Stain, Sterling Silver Hardware.
5"1' (155 cm). Original ivory keys in excellent condition. 88 keys. Beautiful projection and sound. 3 standard pedals (una corda, sostenudo, and damper). All keys and pedals work as desired.
This particular piano is one of a limited batch designed by the industrial designer Walter Teague who is known for his designs for companies such as Kodak, Ford, Texaco and Boeing. The legs of the piano and the overall shape embody the designer's famous art deco design.
The Steinway Model S is the smallest grand piano from Steinway. It can easily fit into any homes while projecting powerful sound when the lid is open. The piano is in a good condition with normal wear through its time.
