Knabe Grand Piano ca. 1895 Rosewood 7' 4". In 1996, Strings, pins and pinblock were replaced, Plate was gilded, felts refelted, bridges reglued, soundboard secured, the buttons are visible in one photo, so the soundboard was repaired not replaced. The cabinet was restored by a furniture restoration company. It has the original key. The original serial number cannot be found. Plays very well but is not on par with a modern piano, it is characteristic of the pianos of the era. Just a gorgeous showpiece piano to look at and a joy to play such a large wonderfully made piano. It was regulated in 2016 and is kept in tune.
