It has just been restrung with Mapes strings (the same strings Steinway uses), It also has a recently rebuilt Steinway action with Renner whippens (same as what Steinway uses on Hamburg Steinways). The soundboard has been refinished, there are also new damper felts and key bushings, as well as front rail bushings. The piano plays like a dream!
The furniture looks very presentable with the classic satin black finish. This piano is suitable for a concert venue or recording studio since the regulation and voicing are even throughout all registers.
