Originally built in 1922 at Steinway’s famed Queens, NY factory.  Intended for home settings, the Model O was introduced as the largest of the smaller line of Steinway pianos. Measuring at nearly 5’ 11”, the Model O is similar in specification and sound to the Model L.
The Model O is the “living room grand,” with the uncompromising Steinway soundboard in a size that can fit in most all living spaces. The first Steinway grand made with squared-bottom legs now standard on all Steinway grands, the Model O is the quintessential Steinway piano.
